LSTV1 Country Director Pa Lamin Fatty Declares Candidacy for GSC Information and Public Relations Officer

As the Gunjur Sports Committee (GSC) prepares for its highly anticipated Elective Congress, veteran journalist and media executive Pa Lamin Fatty has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Information and Public Relations Officer (IPRO).

Fatty, a native of Nyofelleh, brings with him a wealth of experience in media and communications. In a strongly worded declaration, he underscored the pressing need for a visionary and proactive media leadership within the GSC, pointing to persistent challenges in the committee’s Media and Publicity Unit despite the efforts of previous administrations.

“The challenges of Gunjur Sports Committee at its Media and Publicity requires the election and intervention of a progressive, visionary, well connected and astute individual capable of moving the publicity of GSC forward,” Fatty wrote.

Currently serving as the Country Director and Head of Operations at LSTV1, Fatty has held multiple influential roles within regional football structures. These include Media Officer for the West Coast Region Football Association, IPRO for the Kombo South District Football Committee, and Secretary General of the Nyofelleh Youth Association and Sports Committee.

He believes these roles have equipped him with the experience, insight, and connections necessary to elevate the GSC’s media presence and better engage its member clubs and stakeholders.

“With the knowledge, connection and experience in Media and Publicity… I have no doubt that when elected… I, with my team, will undoubtedly help to elevate the Media and Publicity Unit at Gunjur Sports Committee,” he added.

Fatty’s declaration marks a significant development in the lead-up to the GSC Elective Congress, as stakeholders across the Gunjur football community look to usher in a new era of communication and transparency.
