In a brief statement issued following his enrolment, Barrister Darboe expressed heartfelt gratitude:
“Alhamdulillah!
I have today been enrolled in the roll of legal practitioners in The Gambia following my admission to the Gambian Bar as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of The Gambia.
My heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Kansala Law Chambers and Senior Counsel Kebba Sanyang. My usual thanks to my parents and my entire family, relatives, friends, colleagues, lecturers, teachers and well-wishers for making my journey to becoming a lawyer possible.

I remain humble and grateful, and equally committed to upholding the standards expected of a legal practitioner and to the cause of justice.
So help me Allah.”
Fakebba’s achievement is not only a personal triumph but a source of pride for the Gunjur community, as he continues a legacy of public service and legal integrity.
