The training programme will run from 19-26 January and will teach participants how to fight plastic pollution and how to make useful products from recycled materials.

According to the organisation, they share waste management and recycling skills with communities and partners in the world’s poorest places.

“1 in 3 people worldwide have to dump or burn their waste, causing the spread of disease, polluting the oceans and adding to the climate crisis.

Together with our partners, we make useful products from waste to build a cleaner and healthier future. You can help.” WasteAid said on their website.

There are very limited spaces available. If you would like to register and take part in the training programme, please contact Babucarr E Camara on +220 310 1932
