𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲

Operates Gunjur Online production equipment - cameras/smart phones for the purpose of video content creation/upload of finished video content for branding and publication and related equipment in the production and editing of video documentaries, talk shows, educational online television programs, or other video productions such as setting up camera feed from the ground for LIVE video broadcasts.

Gunjur Online is looking for a well organised, experienced, and creative videographer to work with our ground team to plan, shoot, and edit video content for our shows and events where video coverage is required.

The videographer's responsibilities include, but not limited tp ensuring that the necessary equipment is available for use, directing other camera operators on set, and editing video footage and transfer/upload of video footage to our main studio for banding and publication.

To be successful in this role, you must be able to understand and comply with Gunjuronline TV’s video content requirements, be creative and produce the desired video outputs as per required standards.

𝐕𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:

• Plan, set up camera/audio and lighting equipment on set or on location to ensure high quality video content production.

• Ensure that equipment for a shoot is present and working.

• Plan the shoot with the creative team (show hosts) and/or presenters.

• Edit video footage in post-production as may be required.

• Reporting to Gunjuronline TV Lead Producer

• Direct other camera operators where necessary so that the needed footage is acquired and at high standards.

• Ensure that video cameras, smartphones, microphones, tripods, and any other video production equipment is always maintained and kept clean and safe.

𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:

• Must be Computer literate.

• Proficiency with video editing software.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Must be resident in Gunjur

• Proficiency with camera equipment/mobile phone video shoot.

• Must ensure timely editing, compression, and upload of video to our main studio.

• Must be punctual and reliable and good timekeeper.

• Ability to configure, operate and maintain video camera and/or field audio, lighting, and associated production equipment.

• Ability to use video compression and file transfer tools.

• Liaise with ground team for all video shoot requirements!

Salary is dependent on experience and within budget of this part time role.
