Gunjur: USA based Faburama Darboe pledges D20,000 for Gunjur Development Association’s multi-purpose centre.

Following a visit to the project site for a state of the earth multi purpose centre being build by GDA, Faburama Darboe, aka Kampung has pledged a sum of D20K as his contribution towards this vital institution for the community of Gunjur and her immediate surroundings.

Mr Darboe’s move came on the heels of a similar support from Alhassan Alex Darboe, who donated D50,000 and Omar Kulay Touray who also provided trips of sand for the construction works.

Gunjur Development Association (GDA) is building the centre on a land purchased some few years ago. When completed, the two-story multipurpose complex will provide the youth a place to learn a skill, play, socialise and have recreation facilities for a healthier lifestyle.
