Road Traffic Accident Claims Lives of Three Gunjur Natives

A tragic road accident early Sunday morning has claimed the lives of three individuals, with one other person left critically injured, according to a report issued by the Gambia Police Force.

Among the deceased are Bubacar Bojang, the son of Abdul Wahab Bojang, and Abdoulie Manneh, who is believed to have been the driver at the time of the crash and an unnamed third person. All three individuals hail from Gunjur, a community now mourning the loss of the three young men. The third casualty has yet to be formally identified.

The incident occurred around 7:00 AM in Old Yundum, where the vehicle driven by Manneh reportedly collided with a police vehicle according to the report. The impact resulted in the deaths of the three men and left a fourth passenger in critical condition.

Authorities have launched a full investigation into the cause of the crash.
