NAWEC Signs contract with Chinese power and transformer manufacturer TBEA

National Water and Electricity Company, NAWEC has today signed and EPC contract with TBEA, a Chinese manufacturer of power transformers, other electrical equipments and a developer of electricity transmission projects.

The contract which is being funded by The World Bank is to build transmission infrastructures in the Greater Banjul Area.

The project which is solely funded by The World Bank seeks to support improvements in power supply and stability for the socio-economic development of The Gambia.
